We pride ourselves on our diverse pool of talent comprising the most creative minds who are actively engaged to ensure that we deliver on all of our commitments. As Cashier your role will involve to provide assistance to the day to day financial operations in Qasr Al Sultan

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following;

  • Operating a cash machine and POS to calculate customer’s bills
  • Managing the register, including all credit card and cash operations
  • Taking customer orders at the counter
  • Checking bills to see if the correct amount has been displayed and print them out
  • Answering customers’ questions regarding billed items
  • Recording totaled amounts, including expenses in restaurant’s database
  • Informing customers about available modes of payment
  • Counting cash in the cash register at the end of each shift and ensure that it tallies
  • Sorting, counting and wrapping currency and coins and arrange for them to be deposited to the bank
  • Ascertain that there is sufficient change available at the beginning of each day
  • Leading the opening and / or closedown of FOH effectively / cashing up at the end of shift / handing over the banking to Security Company for transportation to the bank
  • Communicating any issues impacting the restaurant / food quality
  • Carrying out any reasonable instruction / duties as directed
  • Attending training sessions whether internal or external as and when required
  • Reporting any defects in equipment immediately to the chef or manager in charge
  • Working with your colleagues to ensure the day to day operation is smooth
  • Training, supporting, coaching and guiding all junior colleagues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and healthy working environment

The ideal candidate will come from a Restaurant/Hotel background and will hold at least two years’ experience as a Cashier
