Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
? Provide a help – desk service / single point of contact to all the departments for all IT related issues (hardware, software, networking etc.) in order to avoid multiple contact points, reduce system downtime and increase user productivity, by ensuring fast turnaround time.
? Assist the purchasing team in determining technical specifications to ensure that the product purchased meets the business requirements.
? Assist in developing and implement all IT policies and procedures for the business and support the business.
? Negotiate agreements and oversee all maintenance work.
? Analyze reported problems and investigate and provide a solution to resolve issues, ensuring solutions is executed with minimum disruption to the business.
? Implement and maintain various systems and components in the network, which are purchased by the company to augment the business needs for the user effectively.
? Ensure escalation and other procedures are maintained, and periodically review and inform management if the procedures need to be changed to effectively contribute to the changing business and end users.
? Monitor and prepare statistical reports using available software tools.
? Responsible for IT network administration of the company and maintain assets register of all IT related equipments.
? Responsible for putting in place appropriate data back-up and control systems to ensure that the company is information assets are safe guarded and protected against damage , loss etc.
